Short description

We’re looking for a skilled AI Developer to design, build, and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines that power intelligent, context-aware AI applications. You’ll work closely with our ML, data, and product teams to develop systems that deliver accurate, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions using LLMs enhanced by high-quality retrieval.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop RAG pipelines for end-to-end data ingestion, chunking, embedding, retrieval, and LLM orchestration

• Evaluate, select, and optimize vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval strategies

• Implement document preprocessing workflows (chunking, metadata extraction, hybrid search, rerankers, etc.)

• Experiment with and optimize prompt engineering, system instructions, and LLM integration for best performance

• Build scalable APIs and microservices around RAG systems

• Monitor system accuracy, latency, hallucination rates, and other quality metrics

• Collaborate with data engineers on pipelines and with product teams on feature requirements

• Stay current with advancements in LLMs, embeddings, rerankers, and RAG architectures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

• 3+ years of relevant experience

• Strong experience with Python, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks

• Hands-on expertise with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Milvus, pgvector, etc.)

• Solid understanding of LLMs, tokenization, embeddings, and modern retrieval algorithms

• Experience building production-grade ML/AI applications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Bonus: experience with evaluation frameworks, reranking models, chunking strategies, or multimodal RAG

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic workflows or function calling

• Familiarity with offline/streaming retrieval

• Knowledge of data governance, PII redaction, and secure document handling

• Contributions to open-source RAG/LLM tools
